The Challenge
Anita Roddick’s The Body Shop as a pioneer of ethical and sustainable products in the personal care sector, and new leadership wants to reestablish those leadership credentials for a new customer base. They asked us to promote the bottle refill initiative, which was their priority for the year. But how to do this in a way that doesn’t lecture or lose the viewer?
The Solution
Our solution is based on a simple insight from a member of the Beyond Belief team: we don’t throw away all the other vessels we use in our daily life, how odd that would be! So, of course, you should be refilling your cosmetics bottle. It would be dumb otherwise! We crafted an amusing spot that shows the target buyer showing how ludicrous that would be. With high-quality text on screen, we give the facts while having fun making a common-sense call-to-action.
